Name:  Betty Dixon

Date of Birth:  December 6th 1940

    Betty has been weaving since the age of 13.  She will make her rugs in the Two Grey Hills patterns.  Her weaving style is a real tight weave with good pattern work.  She also does all of her rugs with handspun wool.  She learned how to weave on her own, but has passed the art on to her daughter, Victoria.  She is pictured above with her daughter who is on the right.  This is a rug that they both worked on together.
