    Evelyn is from a large family of exceptional weavers.  The Joe family is famous for their Chief  Blankets.  Evelyn is a weaver that adds creativity to her work. She is always very consistent in her weave and beautiful design work. She is a very humble person, quieter than most of her family members, and always well mannered and business like while selling her rugs. Other members of her family include weavers- Nellie Dean, James Joe, Eunice Joe, Priscilla Warren, and the late Lillie Mae Joe.
