    Julia is a fantastic weaver.  She is very talented and can do any style or design.  Her rugs are very well woven and she has excellent pattern work.  The rug that she is holding here is an older rug that she made with excellent results.  Julia has been weaving since the age of 7.  She learned by sitting back and watching her mother, Bessie Pete, weave.  It came natural to her and she is now one of the best weavers around.  She has taught her niece to weave.  Julia's sister, Fannie Pete, is another talented weaver.  We have many rugs from both of these girls.
