Date of Birth: March 1st 1923

   Mary rugs are fine woven rugs with nice, creative pattern work.  The quality of her rugs comes from the 71 years of experience.  She has been weaving since the age of 9.  She will make rugs in the two grey hills style.  She learned how to weave from her mother and she has taught her daughter, Carmelita Henderson how to weave.  Mary has recently started to weave again after some health problems forced her to stop.  We are glad that she is back at it since her rugs are very well made and nice to look at.
